Department of Skin and Vulnerable Disease

The Shaheed Nirmal Mahto Medical College, Dhanbad (Erstwhile Patliputra Medical College, Dhanbad in the State of Jharkhand is an old under graduate medical College with multiple departments that includes Skin V.D. also.

The Skin department gives OPD service to large number of patients and operation in Monday to Sunday from 9.00 am to 1.00 pm and 3.00pm to 5.00 pm.

There is an indoor having 20 beds. There is well equipped O.T. for carrying out dermato surgical procedures by laser (Co2+Fractional) and Nd YAG for pigmentary condition, electrofulgration unit, PUVA.

There is a laboratory for carrying out day to day routine investigation for skin, leprosy and STD cases. At present following doctors are posted in the department and undertaking academic and non-academic activates.
